E4C introduced homestead kitchen gardening in selected villages to promote sustainable, organic vegetable cultivation and enhance household food security. Community members received training on soil management, seasonal crop cultivation, and eco-friendly farming practices. Families were encouraged to establish backyard vegetable plots featuring crops like cabbage, leafy greens, and tomatoes to ensure direct access to fresh, pesticide-free produce. The initiative improved household nutrition, reduced daily food expenses, and fostered community-led self-reliance across participating villages.
