Founded on 9th September 2024, Empowerment for Change (E4C) focuses on empowering women, youth, and vulnerable rural communities through sustainable development initiatives. The organization was established to address challenges related to economic insecurity, limited opportunities, and social inequality in tribal and rural areas. E4C promotes women empowerment, homestead livelihood systems, entrepreneurship, education support, and community development. Through practical and community-driven approaches, we help families improve nutrition, generate income, and build resilience. Our initiatives support women farmers, young girls, and low-income households to achieve sustainable growth. We believe in dignity, equality, participation, and long-term community transformation. Today, E4C is creating meaningful change across villages in Tamenglong District, Manipur.

E4C conducted awareness programmes focused on health, nutrition, women's rights, and community participation. Youth and women leaders were encouraged to take active roles in local development. Interactive sessions promoted leadership, confidence building, and social responsibility. Communities discussed challenges and identified practical solutions together. The programme strengthened community engagement and collective action. Participants gained knowledge and motivation to improve local conditions. Activities were organized in multiple target villages.
E4C introduced backyard poultry systems in selected villages to promote women-led income generation. Women received training on poultry management and sustainable farming practices. Families were encouraged to establish small poultry units within their homesteads. The initiative improved access to nutritious food and additional income opportunities. Community participation played a key role in the programme's success. Women reported increased confidence and financial contribution to their households. The programme benefited families in Khangchiuluan, Chiuluan, and nearby villages.
